I did not see anywhere that the car needed to be included in the figures. The only place I saw that was in your posts.

So I hope that clears that up. If not.....
Well he posted he didn't own one so of course I'm going to include the price of the car unless you think it's going to start raining DSM's tomorrow morning and he's going to run out in his driveway and catch one.

I didn't ask if you had a DSM I asked if you ever built a 300hp DSM. You have serious reading comprehension problems don't you? I saw in your car profile you have a GST with OVER $1500 in mods and it's still 50hp short of 300hp. So I guess you're using the wrong parts or installing them wrong according to your previous post.

Even $1500 in mods is going to be pushing it on the least amount of parts to make 300hp on a 1g especially if you buy everything new. Hell a turbo back exhaust and 16g will cost you over $1500 and that doesn't include ANY of the supporting mods. I will even go out on a limb and say you'll probably spend $3000 in MODS ALONE to reach 300hp NOT including the car to disprove your missconception and statement even more. Of course all parts new, no buddy hookups or free parts.

I'm a keyboard Ninja because I laid the smack down on your candy ass with knowledge? Don't think I can't do the same in person.

Seriously? I got a MHI Evo III Big 16G for $550 and 3" DP and custom exhuast for less than $250.

for 1500 bucks i think you can get alot more than a 16g and exhaust. evo16g, evo560's, wally 255, safc, and an intercooler could be had for under 1500 bucks just put on a open 3 inch downpipe.. thats the bare minimum and i guess its possible to make 300hp on that. i would rather do it right and have a better setup though with dsmlink, some bigger injectors, AFPR, wideband, etc.

Seriously?

Seems your reading comprehension is just as lacking as cycloc's.

I didn't know a 16g was a direct bolt on for a 2g car. How did that workout for you?

$250 for a complete 3" MS Mandrel bent turbo back exhaust with muffler? That's quite amazing. Where can I get one?

Even at $800 for *NEW* MHI Evo3 16g turbo and full 3" Mandrel bent turbo back exhaust(which isn't possible) that leaves you $700 out of the $1500.

So you still need something to control fuel, fmic, intake, injectors, clutch, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and boost controller. I'm sure I'm forgetting a thing or two but I could care less to go above and beyond to prove a point we all know is true.

^ Ian your forgetting one thing, most Dsmers don't buy their stuff new. If he goes to DSM Trader hosted by DSMsource.com - Main Index and then goes into the dsm trader parts classifieds for sale section he can most defenetly get alot for his money!
