Question I have a locked engine where to go?

My thoughts before my engine locked up on me were to get a DOHC 1.8T but now I am seeing that i can posibley go 2.0TT and i am wondering is it worth it because my car is not AWD but the kit has everything that you will need from engine to mounts. I want to keep my eclipse and not just give it up to a junk yard but i was wondering if anyone had anytips on what my next engine should be. I was looking at a 1.8 DOHC for $600 from this one site i have been looking at but i was there and saw that there are 2.0TT for the 90-93 then the 95-97 so i am wondering where is the missing link from the early 90s model that wont work on mines if i thought we have the same engine? I am not really good with cars but i know somethings I just would rather have some feed back to help make my decision from people that have been down this road before.

lol if you're not good with cars you shouldnt be considering a twin turbo, if thats what you mean by TT.

What year eclipse do you have? Just get a regular 6-bolt and put one big turbo on it. stop messing around with 1.8 turbos and 2.0 twin turbos and stay simple.

I have no idea what you're talking about or what you drive.

What are you talking about and what do you drive?

yea i just want to get my car back up and running for now all the tech stuff can really wait. I dont plan on goin all out for my ride to impress others. But thanks for the thought. I will look into the 6 bolt and see if it comes out cheaper than just geting a regular 4G63 1.8 DOHC which is only $600

get a turbo car. the swap from a 1.8 to a 2.0 is a pain.
