Damn thats a bad ass price thats about $80 less than what it would cost to get the engine and components sent to me. But where are you located becasue I am in jacksonville.

Just for clarification, the 1.8 motor is SOHC, not DOHC. $750 installed (with warranty?) isn't bad. Get it towed.

i agree, and I was almost positive there wasnt a mitsu dohc 1.8, but I figured that a honda si has a dohc 1.8(.6? .7?) so I didnt want to rule it out.

but the 1.8 4g63 motor isnt worth messing around with. It's not built for forced induction. Stay with a 6-bolt 2.0 motor. Its the best motor for dsms, it can handle a ton of abuse, and it has the least amount of problems.

if I read it right, you might get a 1.8 motor for $600? I'd be surprised if someone was able to make $100 off a 1.8. I just bought a jdm 6-bolt with about 40,000 miles for $300. Search around, although its getting harder and harder to find a 6-bolt, they are out there, and shouldnt be more than $600.

That deal that Styl129 is offering is a great deal, just too bad you live far from each other.
