I can freeze time

I have a 99 eclipse. Can a messed up CV boots or axle possibly interefere with my cars acceleration performance etc..... It seems that if I mash the pedal the car would make this distinct ggrrrrr that I could also feel.

I suppose it could. Did you do a visual of CV boot to see if it appears damaged? Does the car pull to one side?

Its actually a leaking boot but my friend told me that it is better if I just replace the whole axle. When I turn the wheel I can hear a click. It doesnt seem like it pulls from one side though.
