what all do i need to buy to replace the front struts on a 89 conquest is it all one peice or is it a cartridge/insert setup?
and what is a good oem replacment for them?

Just go buy new struts. $100 each for adjustables. $20 or so for Monroes. Now if the springs are fairly new you may need to get a spring compressor to put the springs back on. If it is lowered you may want to get some adjustable struts and get a chamber kit to re-align the wheel. Some day I need to do this.
