how much research have you done to say something like 3g's suck? i have a buddy that has a 3g (not mine) that would whoop on all these gay ass hondas.
Boost with the proper supporting mods they you can boost 16psi on a stock block leaving you at 350 whp tuned
just do your research before you go calling cars out like that. if you need more info PM me

The conclusion I came to is that its not worth messing with it. Not much vendor support for the 6g72 and 4g64 compared to the more moddable 4 cylinder engines (4g63, SR20, whatever the hell honda has, etc..)
Yes people turbo the 4 cylinders, Yes they Supercharge and (rarely) turbo the 6 cylinders. But with $10k invested you're still looking at 12-13's. That's stock Evo and lightly modded GSX territory.
Not worth the effort IMO.

Like every other 3000+ lb 2.x liter 4 cylinder car, boosting is pretty much the only option to go fast.
Its certainly an option and obviously do whatever you/him want to with the car. Just doesnt make much sense to use that as a platform to start with.
Hate to see people get stuck dumping money into a dead-end platform is all.

i klnow its a dumb idea i have a gsx and i cant convince him to get a 1g so what else is their to do but let him spend his money and tell him what is the best thing to do to go faster i figured boosting it

If he wants to build it, he will have to spend a lot of money. Best thing to do is turbo it with an evo 8 head. then he will end up with a dohc turbo 2.4. But he will have to replace the rods and pistons bc they will snap like twigs. To do it right about 10k.
