Very good, someone with knowledge. Alot of people don't know about the evo head swap. There are some people all motor with the evo 8 head swap non turbo pushing close to 250 whp. The internals are just as strong but a slight weaker than a gsx or gst. Safely you can boost up to 16 psi is the max most people are boosting. Very very few only 2 i know of that have the head swap and boost are pushing 18-20 psi, thats about close to 400 its all what he wants thought. A boosted 3g 4cyl will keep up with a lot of swapped civics and skeetles (srt-4's) if you want to see the mega numbers or just want safety in stead of pushing your motor internals are the way to go. pistons are just as expensive as any other car. Tearstone Performance - Home will have them. They use the same rods as the 4g63t eclipses.

All in all its an expensive project. Just a kit alone is close to 3grand and the 1500 ebay kits suck!! the manifolds crack after 1k miles. i priced mine out if i built it myself and it came out to 2700 with all parts brand new. Honestly i'm trying to sell my 3g and use a 2g platform that way i can go stright for internals and not have to worry about boosting and internals.

Ferktech:I love Bert's constant DSM abuse pictures. Apexi crankwalk controller is set to 68% while the main bearing damage indicator is tuned to a near perfect 42%. Chances of DSM survival, close to zero. Thank god you've got a V6 Mopar GT with aluminum can pistons which break off in chunks and destroy valves. Showed those 4 cylinder boys how to fuck up an engine the right way. Crankwalk pish posh, we fling high speed metal parts here!

Boost with the proper supporting mods they you can boost 16psi on a stock block leaving you at 350 whp tuned

my 8g galant has the same engine as a 3g eclipse.. woot. so if you have any info on makin it a little faster lmk

Ive heard the 4g63 turbo manifold bolts up to the 4 cylinder engine.If he wants to go that route it will alot cheaper.

this is true, only problem with the 4g63 manifold is that if we want to keep the a/c we have to get a custom downpipe made that will clear the a/c pulley. it sucks but thats the only way the down pipe has to come nearly straight down.
