thanks guys. actually im playing around with a swap that hasnt been done on the 420a eclipse, so if everything measures out like i think it will the eclipse will be turbo by the end of the year, thanks to all the stupid neon guys who total there srt-4's. lol

im pritty much looking for something to give the 420a a lil kick without blowing the money for my swap. i already have a formula 350 firebird, with a few mods, so i dont need the eclipse to be a rocket, thats what the v-8 is for. but i would at least like it to have some balls.

 

sell it and buy a dsm or buy my starion and put a v8 lol

 

Don't waste your money doing a swap in the car, when you could make the 420a much faster for less money. How bout you just turbo your car and have it's balls enough to play with a certain formula firebird hehe. If not, just sell it to me and I'll see you on the streets and show you what's possible with the proper motivation.

 

well im looking around and i have a total srt-4 motor, tranny ecu and harness for bout $2500. so unless someone can get me a decent turbo set up and internals for the 420a motor for about half that im not interested. the hans kit is that much alone, so a hole srt4 motor is very nice.

im just not interested in spending a bunch of money on a stock 420a eclipse. now if i was gonna build it up and stuff then fine. but i just dont see the point of spending $2500 on turbo and building internels when the srt4 might be almost a str8 swap except for the manifolds.

You have no idea how much more money you'll spend just trying to fabricate that motor into the 2gnt engine bay. Not to mention, all that work for a stock srt4 powerplant.

You can have your rebuild parts for under a grand easy. Then get a custom turbo kit that you build yourself, which will be cheaper and more cost efficient with better parts then say a hahn setup. Do that, and I guarantee it'll be less than the cost of your super srt4 awesomeness.
