alright I dropped my motor in hooked up all the engine harness connectors, and the only one i can't hookup is the iac. I have nothing cut on my harness and have looked for a hour and i can not find the connector that goes to it. Is it a individual harness all by its self ? what am i missing

 

How does it run without having the IAC plugged in? i was talking to a guy last night with a 95 AWD and his isn't plugged in at all and it runs fine.

 

REALLY? thats hard to beleive its so your car will idle properly. I have not started the car yet because of this. I guess if his runs ok ill try mine .

 

Ya, that was me.....about a year ago i was having issues with mine and it went bad and my idle kept creeping up to 3k and would just sit their once it got warm....i ended up pulling it out and pulling it apart and it was a little "electro stepping motor" (not sure if thats the correct term) so i pulled it apart and set my idle to around 750...the only problem is that it doesn't adjust idle for engine temp it just stays at 750 regardless...
