ive never really tried any additives before, except on my last eclipse i used bars stop-leak, and well, i dont have that eclipse anymore lol

i ask because my car has a coolant leak somewhere, but its so tiny, it takes about 5 months before i have to start worrying, and then i fill it up again. this last time, i was with some friends and they said because it was really hot outside lately, there should be more water than coolant, like 70/30 (70 = water). i dont really agree with that, but i mixed it that way anyways. i notice now the temp gauge sits just a touch higher than it usually did. no overheating, just running like 10-15 degrees hotter or so, judging by the stock gauge.

i think ill drain it, and try 50/50 and waterwetter.

just for the record, where does your guys' temp gauges sit when fully warmed up on an 85 degree or so day? mine sits directly in the middle.

I run 70 water 30 coolant. I don't have a temperature gauge, but the stock gauge is always below the center line on my cars.
