The 2.0 isn't better than a stroker or de-stroker. It wont out last either. It's a matter of knowing what you need. It depends on your driving style and HP/Boost projections. The DE is your best bet by far. If the engine is built well it will last as long as any other motor with regular oil changes. If you drive it like a fool it will break it's as simple as that.

Why is it that all the Pros use a 2.0??? there has to be a reason behind that ???

I think they may want to re-think their setup. The AWD's are bringing up the rear in NDRA standings (yes the are 2.0). They have been beaten regularly by FWD cars (ECOTEC). Ever since the FWD cars have been in the 7's I no longer think AWD is the way to go. The De-stroker can rev well over 10K. Who knows? It will catch on sooner or later.

^^ The 2.0 is way better than the stroke in full power or race applications. The stroker may make more power but will come apart at levels above 600whp which is why the guys that are going really fast run 2 liters. Now as far as the destroker you may be on to something

plenty of awd cars are in the 7s ever heard of john sheperd lol either way to the person who made this thread build it the way you want strokers are sick but the 2.0 by trial and error has been the best and longest lasting...just when u finally decided on a shop make sure ur getting ur moneys worth not just some stroker and an install

AWD's bring up the rear in the NDRA standings because AWD isn't a good drag racing aplication in the 7 second range . Too many parts to break and have to fix . Have to slip the shit out of the clutch not to anihlate parts out of the whole etc ..

RWD + 2Liter + Auto/Jericho is where it's at
