Help with Evo, won't Rev
On Thread Topic:
Your evo needs a reflash. It should be running right after that. If you're still experiencing the same problems, get a spark plug wrench and check your plugs -- one major problem is that when you guys upgrade your intake/pipes etc on the evo, it starts to run really rich. If that doesn't work and mostly everything checks out fine then I suggest that you recheck ALL connections and hoses. If all else fails, take the car to Mitsubishi directly.
Off Topic:
I can guarantee you that if that EVO loses to the Eclipse then it'll be driver error. You can't put a rookie driver behind a sub 300hp car and expect that driver to know exactly when to drop into 3rd and pull. Its like giving a pilot's apprentice the go ahead to fly a boeing to china and he's been training on a flight simulator for his entire training.
Off of a launch, the GS-T will most likely take the EVO because of the driver, but the EVO will definitely pull by 1-2 cars if the driver of it was experienced.
On another note; you guys with shops -- you come on here to ethug your name and other members, you know what happens when you do that? you lose tons of business. No customer wants to hear you talk about your excuses, and what happend, or who's girl was stripping at a wet t- shirt contest. In the end its all about who built the car that raped x y and z, or who built the car that ran 10.21 @ the track on street tires. If you're going to have a shop -- spend your time and money on the shop, not on the damn internet shooting out rebuttals to some fucktard on the internet.
On a side note -- I'll take the evo or the eclipse in my german built auto.
