I have a 95 GST. Today when I boosted in 3rd gear. At about 5rpm It felt as if everything sliped. Like it strugged or something? And now it feels like the the clutch pedle is alittle easyer to push in. It still go's into gears fine. It only did it that one time though. Any idea on what might of happen. Thanks

 

im not a tech or ne thing but i can relate. my car did that to me in the same gear at the same rpm. as far as the clutch pedal gettin soft i dunno.
but ne ways the car did it to me on about 3 diff. occasions my uncle is a mechanic and so i took it to him. he came to the conclusion that the car was running to lean, because i was pushing to much boost with stock injectors. i put bigger injectors in and it hasnt had the problem since.

I think that may be the problem. My turbo has alot of shaft play and is pooring smoke out. Either its that or it is what qbanjr9.......CRANKWALK!!! lol. But I will try and get some bigger injecters and see if its that. Thanks for the help bro

I see what your talking about. Thanks for your imput on the problem i had. It hasen't happend sence. I injectors did you get? or what are some good ones I sould upgrade to?

 

can you explain what happened a little more? what do you mean by it slipped? like the clutch slipped and the rpms went up?

 

Yea It slipped and stuggled as it was boosting. When it slipped the rpms did go up like you said. I have alot of shaft play on my turbo. would it be that.?? Also it is kinda idleing alittle funny now.

 

i dunno, the whole thing doesnt make sense to me at least. i dont get how it slipped, and struggled at the same time, guess its something youd have to be there to know.
