What year tranny is this? Serial number doesnt make sense to me.

What year tranny is this? Serial number doesnt make sense to me.
I thought the 10th digit was the year. Its a AWD 5 speed, supposedly a 91. The number is KW5M332NPXV. The X would make it a 99? I know its not a 2G.

thats not the vin number. vins are 17 digits. that is the tranny series. 91-94awd

thing is its a tranny I just picked up, dont know the vin of the car it came out of, I thought the digits on the actual bellhousing held some truth. I just dont know what cable brackets to use...
