Default how to prvent crank walk

how do you prevent crank walk with out upgrading to a 6bolt

By not buying a DSM


The Evo's are the longest living engines yet they still walk,
There are plenty of theories, all require ripping the engine out of the car. You can buy a 99 block with the 3piece thrust bearing and re-tap the oil squirters so they pull the oil from the galley instead of the main bearings. Also You have to get the crank Nitrated to toughen the surfaces....

Oh and don't get any clutch with a higher than 2100lb pressure plate... lol

All this may only prolong the inevitable I think after doing all that it would be cheaper just to bolt in a 6-bolt, just my .02

stay with a stock clutch

dont hold the clutch in at stop lights

and the clutch mod so you dont have to push it in when starting the car
