Default New silver eclipse gst

Hey everyone just picked up this gst over the weekend. So far she is stock minus the greddy profec boost controller. i have a small 16g lined up and i am trying to get my hands on a resonable priced 3" exhaust system. Anyways check it out let me know what ya think and if anyone has any parts that they are interested in getting rid of please pm me.

1998 eclipse gst, 73,000 miles and i picked it up for almost 3k under kkb $5800
Interior (leather) is in perfect condition and the car perrs like a kitten...

my advice, dont give up on a fwd dsm after you start modding the shit out of it, believe me you will want to, they will not hook...(yet), youll get drag radials they might spin(depending on your setup im rambling) and you will be pissed that paid good money for them, keep them for the street, but for the track slicks are a must if your putting down some good power, the axles are pretty tough, slicks are pretty easy on the drivetrain just dont launch the living shit out of it, the turbo selection you choose will play a big role in traction most smaller mitsu turbos (i.e. 14b, 16g variants) will hit very hard in low to mid range and you will have yourself a spin king especially on the 2gs higher compression pistons (8.5:1cr), lsd inserts or the real lsd diffs will help, but on slicks it will hook pretty well too. be smart in the clutch you choose too think about how much power u are looking to put down in the long run and choose something that will hold more than enough for what your looking to throw at it.

thanks man, my goal for this car is 300hp and from what i have been reading that is pretty easy to get. I am looking for somthing that is both quick and practical. All my buddys drive evos... i atleast want to be able to hang with them from a roll. Thanks for the advice everything you said makes sense and i am going to take what you said into consideration.

yeah 300 wont take u much, youll prolly have traction issues in 1st and 2nd (street tires def) even on radials u might spin some, but for roll racing should hook well, most likely wont spin 3rd gear at all even on street tires at 300whp on a full weight car
