Well decided to go out tonight to kill some time before going to a club.

Found a 240 to run. Cool guy and everything so we kept going at it on the third run however knowing I kept missing 3rd I decided to say fuck it and just slam it in. Too bad I over revved the shit out of the car before it was actually in gear.

We are not entirely sure what happend but we think my balance shaft belt broke so I skipped timing. Im sure I bent some valves. And I know that one of the rockers flew off and made a nice hole in my valve cover.

I drew quite the crowd too.







What pissed me off even more was that AAA came out and said oh its got an intercooler... we can tow it. Mother Fuckers they were lucky I was already calm

I have never had balance shafts in any of my motor since.

Ouch... well that happened on the TSI I used to have and my damage was one rocker arm completely shattered, bent valves, some broken valves... pieces ended up on top of the pistons/inside the exhaust manifold, and inside the turbo exhaust housing breaking a few fins on the turbo. Been there... it sucks! Good luck with it all.
