ahh that timing belt looks like theres stuff shredding off!!

 

Dario I see you there is a flat head on the valve stem. Did you check to see if the valve was all the way up by prying up on it. Or you can reference the hight of the spring to the exhaust spring. If they look the same hight then probaly okay. You think maybe valve float.

 

Did you run the black S13 in the pictures?

 

Did you pull your spark plug? If you pulled your plug and its fine theres a good chance you didnt hurt your bottom end to bad.

 

I couldnt beleive how many people there was out there. I was followin matt and we all stopped to show our support! I know how car problems suck but hey, 1 step back 2 steps forward.

Well guys I just got home from the G-spot.

I said I was going to be out and DAMN if I wasn't!!!

Kirk yes i did run the S13 hopefully Jules will have the vid up soon.

Here is how it went down at 4pm on Sunday. Since I was convinced I had bent some valves I took the head off without even doing a compression test. I'm such an idiot sometimes!!!

All the car needed was a new lifter and rocker. New harmonic balancer, balance shaft belt and a new crank sensor.

Valves were perfect so were the pistons and cylinder walls.

 

i knew that was you out there, i only caught a glimpse of a silver 2g being towed by a suv. Hopefully everything goes well.

 

Stock valve springs. = valve float which knocked off rocker from lifter and valve?

Yeah should have done a compression test, to see if you bent any valves if you couldnt tell by looking at the springs.
