Timing adjustment
i guess we did, unless theres some special way to check timing on a DSM? We hooked up the timing light to the #1 cylinder and to the positive terminal of the battery, and marked the crank pully at the timing mark. I forget where it registered at, but he said its 5 degrees off.
There is a plug on the firewall that has to be grounded when you check he timing. You also can not have a datalogger hooked up at all.

yea you need to hook a jumper wire to the connector and ground it out somewhere. its like a round connector i cant explain it, but it was running along the firewall for me
