replacing starter

Default replacing starter

well im going to replace the starter with a refurbished one from advanced. probably tomorrow night, but most likely saturday morning. is there anything i should before i do this? obviously take the negative cable off the battery, but anything else? ill let you all know how it goes.


.....ok i know its just a starter but its a pretty big deal to me lol

take out your upper ic piping, and that along with the battery should be about it. jack up the car cause you have to pull it out thru the bottom of the car. its just two bolts on the tranny, youll find them just look for the hump on the bell housing behind the block, feeling for everything works well too. too bad you dont have air tools cause i got mine out in like 30 seconds with air tools HAHA.. goodluck.
