I got pulled over this morning and my car got searched. During the search process, they managed to break my glovebox so that when opened, it hangs down completely instead of stopping half-way. Does anyone know what holds the glove box up and how to fix my glove box?

the probably broke the little tab that stops it. Check and see if its out of place... that happened with mine and i just moved it back in place. I might have an extra tab thingy. I'll check the inventory and pm you if i do. By the way i was laughin like crazy when i saw the title of the post!

Bro...these weren't cops. These were PIGS. The worst part was that 4 other cops showed up, and in one car there was a cop who was about 6'4", 160 lbs., and skinnier than Kate Moss. Ironically, he had the worst attitude of all the cops out there. Oh well...apparently the uniform has the ability of turning otherwise losers into a symbol of power and authority. I just hate it when the really scrawny ones act all tough.

They also broke the cardboard floor for my hatch. I guess that's what happens when a pig throws my subs (2 JL 10W3's in a JL Powerwedge box) into my trunk.

Damn that sucks. Can't you take that to court or something, i dont see cops legally being able to destroy your property and get away with it.

Oh and the "tab" should be right where your glove box used to stop at on the sides of the glove box.
