do you NOT have a modified exhuast?
if you do, then it IS probable cause to pull you over

having an exhaust is not probable cause to search your car...

Modified exhaust=illegal=you can be pulled over for it and be ticketed for it. Shocker there.

Obviously not a justification for searching the car.

I've never had a problem and I've only been pulled over twice anyway, but if it did come to it I'd say no to a search. I have nothing to hide, which is exactly why my car shouldn't be torn apart looking for something that isn't there. Fortunately it's pretty obvious so I doubt I'll have to worry about a search.

I've been through enough bullshit with enough cops, not all of them are bad guys, I just don't see why a traffic violation is more important than the drug dealer that sits on Nebraska selling or the prostitute that is getting picked up by old men.

I've only been let out of a ticket by one cop and the only reason was because he had the exact same car (1g GST) at his house and he had pulled me over because I was going 10 over the limit and I had a taillight out.

Saying that not all cops are bad is like saying "not all of the chambers in the revolver pointed at your skull are loaded."

I AGREE 100%, but unfortunately there are those officers who think poorly of the sport compact world. those guys see your shiney/loud exhuast and automatically put you in the same category as all the dumbfuck street racers.

i dont think a "modified" exhaust should be ticketable unless over a certain decible.

Yes its true, personally I don't like annoying/buzzy sounding exhaust (which is usually a 4" tip welded onto stock piping) so they deserve what they get. I learned a long time ago to run a stock or close to stock looking exhaust. The decible thing was how it was before, now they just do it if you have an exhaust at all and you get the $75 ticket and have to pay it.

Still I don't have no love for TPD or any Pasco County cops.
