what would cause.....
Yea I would work on adjusting it out. Catching with the pedal near the floor it no good in the long run.
The rod going through the pedal, you turn that to adjust it. Kind of common sense when you look at it. Just go up under your dash and check it out!

yea i would think they all work the same for anything. turn the rod toward the master for higher engagement, and away for lower. youll grind if you have it set too low, and it will wear the the disc out if its too high. theres a locknut on the rod too, just loosen that and you should be able to turn the rod by hand, if not needle nose pliers will do.

yeah i adjusted mine too high too. it was actually fine for a while after starting it up in the morning, but after a few shifts or so it would start to slip if i really got on it...and then it would feel weird... i would start it up and everything would feel fine, but after those couple shifts the clutch would engage as soon as I touched it, meaning it was already pulling apart as sooon as it moved half an inch. shifted beautifully though lol.
now i have it adjusted again to an irritating spot where it has to be all the way down. i have to shift to 4th and then reverse to go backwards, and it grinds then. then i have to shift 2nd to 1st in order to start moving forward, and it sometimes grinds then. then if im not paying super close attention, i misshift. very irritating.
