so my next question is :

what is the difference between a recurculiated o2 housing and a o2 housing with a dump tube ? or dump tube - into exhaust ?

is there a sound difference over stock ?

 

recirc o2 housings are usually tubular housing for people who dont want the loudness of a open dump pipe but the performance of the tubular. dump tube in the exhaust is the same princible, just further down in the exhaust, alot of times it will cause turbulance because of the entry of the gases into the exhaust. with a more free flowing o2 housing, you will be able to hear the wastegate alot more, on some of my o2housings ive ran with open downpipe its almost too loud when they open.

I like the sound, it is very intimidating thats for sure. They sound mean too when they sound like that. Its like having a bag of out-dated Skittles... just plain evil lol.

 

so if i pull the shit out of the inside of my muffler it will increase the turbo sound or make it sound like ass ?

 

in theory it should. but no promises. why do you want that sound, i always liked hearing the turbo spool from the intake, sounds alot better than having it in the exhaust. get a bigger turbo and better intake lol.

My car sounds IDENTICAL to a srt-4,I have a straight 2.5 inch downpipe,and full 3 inch exhuast,no beffle/cats/nothing...Just pipe...Sounds good,But to loud at times.

Keep in mind,I drove owned a Srt-4,with a 3inch o2 housing/down pipe,and ran it open at all times...

Small turbo = that sound.
