Just curious, do you happen to know what 1/4 mile time the 500 HP lightning is running? Everybody is saying it would take anywhere from 340 to 400 Hp for an AWD DSM to beat the lightning. Just to give an example/reference point, my friend Dave has an EVO 8 tuned and dynod by Jestr at CFT, at 299.4 HP and 303.2 tq, and hes run a 12.2 1/4. Maybe the EVOs are lighter or have better gearing than Eclipses? Just trying to make some sense of the HP needed to beat the lightning.

 

Evo is same weight as Eclipse, better gearing, I doubt it. A 500hp lightning might be capable of mid 11's from a dig with a good hook. Goerge with his FWD 2g ran high 11's with 411 hp. An awd with 400hp and a hell of a nasty launch should run the same times as a 500hp Lightning.

hrmm.. well i got wax'd by 351coupe. thats one fast lighting there.. but, im with cbrtrx on that one. he has to have alot of shit done to even be at 500wheels. cant be on stock bottem end. maybe he is sprayin or someshit..? all u would need, is a nice 35r and meth and ull wax him
