ask anyone who has or has had dsmlink....its worth the money. i have it and i wouldnt tune without it. you dont need a datalogger with it. it has tuning and logging built in. there are so many things you can adjust in it, and you can add on many other things like MAP sensor or a wideband. your car will run perfect even with huge injectors. my car idles like a dream with 850cc injectors. it runs like a new car. IMO if you plan on making a fast car, you shouldnt be without this, and its really friendly for new users.

the only reason i have a decent tune is because tom helped out alot. its still hard to get GOOD at, but not like aem which you shouldnt start out with if you arent good at standalones.

Don't you have to get a chipped ecu or an e-prom to use the dsm-link?

Yes, it will be the best mod you will make for the $$$ spent. It is a tuner/logger. The fact that it logs knock is invaluble.

If you sweet talk Tom at dsmlink, sometimes for some extra$$ he will send you an ECU also.

Yes, they sell the eprom ecus for 250 or 300, I can't really remember which it is. Fortunately for me, my car came with a eprom in it.
