Default 88 starion problems

My buddy has a 88 starion that breaks up at 4000 rpm's. He has replaced the injectors and has looked for vaccum leaks. Let me know what u guys think it could be. If u need more info let me know.

+1. I had the same problem on my old 87 starion. Just putting new injector clips helped out alot. The secondary injector kick's in around that time. Adam

The clips are like the #1 problem on these cars. So make sure you change those. You can check the vacum advance buy sucking on the hose that gose to it and see if it will stay sucked to your tounge. If not it's bad. Adam

If you haven't allready got to home redirect. It's the best site around for these cars. They have every posabile problem allready fixed with a sulition.
