Ive never read anything about bad wiring on any of the e30 boards... Possibly the only thing is bad window connections when they get dirty, which i am replacing them with e36 switches any so it doesnt really matter.

If I come back, Id really like another GVR4 but I could settle for a 2g talon

Mines still sitting in my dad's office garage. The motor rebuild is done, but I'm in the same poor boat as you. I still have that pic of when ross and you put on your front mount on my phone. good times. sucks you had to sell it.
