not just sound , but why have all the " perfection " and sound like ricey shit. thats like having a fast ass car that looks and sounds like ass . pointless.

I'm on a type s right now since the type r diaphragm blew out on me. my car is slow and ricey!!

then why the question? Ill sell you mine for a few bucks and all you have to do is put a diaphragm in it. they are 68 bucks from greddy.

He may of been very unlucky and got a couple bad ones from a bad batch. Definently not the first time HKS has had design flaws. Read up on Supraforums about the issues with the HKS Cam Gears (Anodized Purple/Teal, 3 bolt design ones), where the teeth were litterally wearing off, on the gears.

However, the HKS SSQBOV has mostly received nothing but positive reviews overall. I installed mine back in 2002 and it still is running strong as ever.
