There is a thread somewhere in here where Jordan posted a link to some site that made your auto run like a stick. was cool i actually thought about building an auto you know since i suck at shifting and all.

I still haven't read up on more than the first few users' initial reactions, so it might be worth investigating more before buying since it's been a few months. But it works on the same principle as the other shift boxes out there, just with cooler features and better controls, so I don't see what they could screw up.

Ok guys heres an update.. yesturday I got new Plugs, Wires, and an ignition switch. I got the ignition switch in so the car will turn on and stay on now, and I changed the Plugs and wires. There are still a few problems tho. First, mad smoke. Like.. lots and lots of smoke. Nothing horrific.. but its bad enough. Also, we got the car running and left it on for a while.. say about 10 minutes or so. No overheating.. so we took it up the street to see how it would run. When I turn left there`s a scraping noise. Not crankwalk cuz Its not that serious. Sounds like more of a problem with maybe the rotors or something. Anyways, we took the car back up to the house and as we were coming up into the driveway, the car stalls out. I try to turn it back on and its VERY hesitant. I had to pump the gas just to get the car to turn on.. but then if I let up off the gas the car stalls. RPMs were at about 200 at this point. Finally I turned the car back on and left it at 2000 RPMs and got it into the driveway. We left the car on and it sounds like its misfiring. I dont understand because we just changed the plugs and the wires. Everything was in good but my friend who was helpin me told me it may be an electrical problem. The RPMs jump too erratically. He told me it may be one or more of four things. 1) Bad ECU 2) Crank Sensor 3) Coil Pack 4) Power Transistor.
Not too sure whats going on here but any help would be appreciated. Thanx again guys. =]

Was the car sitting for a long period of time? If so, you may have some bad gas in your tank. As far as what you listed for problems, see if you can borrow those parts from someone and switch them out one by one until the problem doesnt exist or if it still exists, you can rule them out. Good luck.

ok well yeah as for the sitting, as far as I know the car was sitting for a while before I got it. The only thing is tho is that the car was on E when I went to test drive it. We had to go to the gas station and get like 2 gallons just so the car would have enough gas to get to the gas station. I put 15 in so the gas is good gas. Well, I put it in last week but that isnt too long is it? The car has been sitting for about a week tho so I donno. As for the other problems I will take your advise. Any more help is welcome.
Hey also do the possible problems above sound possible? I know "anything" is possible but still do these sound like legit problems that may be linked to the description of whats going on with my car?
I think your crank may have walked. I've yet to find symptoms specific to automatics (e.g. ticking when clutch pedal is to the floor, clutch pedal dropping when making a left turn - symptoms for manuals), but that left turn noise worries me since I didn't see anything hitting on the wheel (although it may have been the inner shield behind the rotor hitting the inside of the rim) and the stalling also is somewhat worrisome.
Here's something else that's relevant:
When he opens the throttle slightly and lets the rpms climb, it will lose cylinders instanteously and the rpms will drop 500-1500 rpms quickly (similar to what happens to a 1g when the fuel relay by the ECU goes and you here the "click" while the rpms drop rapidly). This is why I believe it to be electrical and why I thought he needed to run through the aforementioned parts (ECU, CAS, PT, and coil pack).
