yeah my alt has been squeeling for a few months and ive lost 2 batt.

I like to call this the "OMG! My dash just lit up like a christmas tree" problem.
Sometimes your car will even buzz like it does when you leave the keys in the ignition.

100% alternator.

Purchase the 90amp version from autozone/pepboys/napa; it costs a little more, but you'll be happy.

no alt belt would do this right. ok i think you are all right......ive been working doubles all week so just now is when i could take a look. my alt belt is gone......and another dead batt.

im gonna replace that first. one thing before this episode the alt belt would squeek most of the time and i would even smell burnt rubber as if the alt pulley was spinning but the belt wasnt. just taking a look at it helps with the diagnosis huh.

boo yaa new alt belt fixed it.....thanks guys. id be fuckin lost if it werent fo TR (mitsu)
