How muchhorsepower do you think this puts out?

GReddy EVOIII Big 16g turbo at 8psi
GReddy Intercooler
GReddy Type S Blow off valve properly recirculated for MAF
RS*R 2.5" downpipe
GReddy EVO II cat back exhaust
GReddy Turbo Timer
GReddy boost controler

and what do you think should the next +/-$1000 be invested in???

bigger injectors so you can run more boost. and that makes under somewhere between 200-250hp...8psi is nothin. it is a 4g63 right? fuel pump and injectors with FPR and something to tune it.

What car is this on? How are you running 8 psi on that turbo with that exhaust setup? Just to start with, the wastegate spring pressure is higher than 8 psi unless it's been changed somehow (which I guess Greddy could've done, though I didn't know Greddy offered an Evo 16g).

Let us know what kind of car you're dealing with. Taking your post at face value and assuming you have a DSM, at first glance I'd say bigger injectors and about 10 psi more boost in that order.

a friend of mine (the former HondaEatingTSi) got a 16G from FP and it was running like 9 psi on the spring, so i do believe it...you need fuel, a clutch, and a tuning apparatus, personally, i would start by getting a clutch...and stop buying so much shit from GReddy, you can pay less money and get better quality products through DSM specialty shops

I agree with Poppa Smurf. I also didnt know that Greddy was making 16g's...oh well. Tuning tool, clutch, gauges(boost/EGT), Straight pipe or high flow cat, Maybe a GM MAF set-up. Is this going on a FWD or AWD? But like Poppa Smurf said look into some other shops for better deals on shops. Greddy is a waste in my opinion. Look into Slowboy, AGP, AMS, ProStreet... I bought alot of parts from Kevin at AGP and Mike at Slowboy. Excellent service and good prices. Later,
-Mike

Wow, that must have been a nice couple grand to have parts made by greddy to run 8 lbs. I think you should highly research before you buy anything else.

Could be pressure drop/pressure differential between what the actuator sees from the turbo outlet and what the gauge sees in the intake manifold. AFAIK the 16g actuators are supposed to be at least 11lbs, maybe more.

My 16g runs 10-11 psi with no boost controller.
