That's an old ebc. Try an MBC and see if you can get it to hold various boost levels. Check all of the wiring and vacuum lines to the unit and solenoids. Try resetting it if it's possible- that's a fuzzy logic unit that might have learned bad habits, though it seems unlikely. Find a tutorial on setting it up correctly. You might just have a bad unit or a bad solenoid if all of that fails.

OK guys but why you saying its not boost creep for sure? I've read a lot of threads on DSMtuners and external WG is not always cure for that problem.

Anyways I have a similar problem and if I dont fix that problem somehow I will set that stupid car on fire. I have a 2,5 in DP with no cat and 3 in. exhaust. With the silencer in there is NO boost creep. I can control my boost with no problem. But when I open the exhaust it will creep up to like 23 psi and more. I've read somwhere that tubular o2 housing and ported manifold could help a lil, but it didn't. What should I do next?

He's not describing boost creep. It could be a bad description, but as it's written, he's describing no boost control at all.

Radek- I would be pleased to answer your question or atleast try to. Please make a New thread for that topic, so we do not make this thread confusing.

I just noticed the tense of the problem. It says he used to beable to turn off his boost controller, and it would appear to revert back to wastegate spring pressure(I'm assuming his wastegate spring is around 10-12psi)
And now it would appear even when turning off the unit something is still bleeding off the pressure.Possibly just got a hole in your vac. lines between your boost controller and wastegate.

Easiest solution would be to borrow a MBC like Jordan said with new VAC. lines going to and from it. And if that fixes it, then to fix your other controller you should run new VAC. lines to and from your current boost controller, and see if that fixes it.

well,I tried a MBC and I didn’t work, maybe because was something that I made with some parts from home depot. Anyways I went to jerry’s house the other day and he checked my car for me. So far he tested the wastegate and believe that the diaphragm is bad. So now I’m ordering a new one and hoping that, will solve the problem. So, next week I will know if it was the problem, however I will post the results.

BTW. Thanks everybody for your inputs and opinions

Its known that the diaphragm on the deltagates are crap. Try searching on various forums and you will see. I think somewhere on homemadeturbo.com they had pictures and an explanation of why they sucked.

and I hate to say it but "I told ya so " lol

Doesn't a Tial 38mm bolt up to a Deltagate flange? That's what I'd probably go with to replace it even if it meant having a new flange welded on.
