As the Title says:
Please describe your dream setup, not only DSM but Mitsubishi exclusively and maybe even why that's your preferred setup.

I understand debates don't always turn out well. But this forum needs tech topics with debates, and actual well supported theories. Key thing is we all don't read the same forums, hang with the same people, know the same things, nor do we all feel the same about every mitsubishi topic.
Someone may submit a topic for debate that I'd have to go out of my way to research. And may never have known or researched before.

So please post your preferred setup, and leave here with the mind set to post a new thread about something technical. Even if you know nothing about it, which in my opinion is the very best kind of topic.

 

anything awd or with traction at least, i was wanting a starion in the future, and just put a 16g or somethin on it to make a fun rwd mitsu.

This changes almost constantly. That's not a bad thing- I'll just post as I change my mind and in the end there will be 30 different dream setups .

Right now it's finishing my 14b setup. Front mount piping, rx-7 wheels fixed and back on, big brakes, and my romulator for real-time tuning. I'm done after that, until I'm out of college.

The real dream setup is still being formulated, researched, and is generally distracting me and keeping me from doing more important things.

Precision SC6152 with a .63 housing to start with, maybe upsizing based on what an exhaust manifold pressure gauge says about my intake/exhaust pressure ratio.
Either the cast T3 manifold Slowboy is coming out with next summer or a stainless DNP manifold.
Tial 38/40mm off of manifold depending on flange

Blowthrough GM MAF setup, cold air intake to fender well
Zeitronix wideband setup with boost and EGT logging, along with an air temp sensor after the IC.

That and strip the car out. Aluminum dash and center console (I like having a place to rest my arm when I shift ), gutted doors, no interior other than race seats, harnesses, 6 point chromoly cage, no crash bumpers, lexan windows, stripped wiring harness (I have to redo it anyway), AC removed, etc. Goal would be to get it under 2500 pounds and make 500 whp on the stock block. The few sacrifices I would make to comfort would be leaving the heat/blower with custom ducting integrated into the dash, having a head unit and two coaxial speakers mounted, leaving my stripped carpet in (my carpet weighs only 5 pounds with all of the jute stripped off the bottom), and running a downpipe with a cutout on the end of it and the y-pipe leading to a stock exhaust (to be dropped at the track, of course.)

 

Theres one car that hardly broke down that i want but he prob wont sell.Brians 14b/n20 C50 Mirage and Chris's 20g C50 Mirage.Both cars were a shitload of fun riding passenger.Both cars also rarely lost in roll races and the looks on the losing owners faces was always priceless.

There are so many things that I want to do...
For starters I want a silver 94 gsx with black leather interior. I want a T4 gt35R with the bullet hole shroud on a full race manifold with a 40mm tial wastegate all bolted to a fully built 2.4 block with 9:1 compression, ported matched head and cyclone. FP 3 cams with dual springs and titanium retainers with 1mm oversized intake valves. I want to have alcohol injection on the 2.5in piping going directly from the turbo outlet to the throttle body. I want the four inch inlet to have a 4 inch pipe custom mounted under the stock location for better air flow. I will be running evans for cooling along with 4 slim fans on a fluidine radiator. Exhaust gases will flow through a 3in thermal exhaust. I want a coil on plug setup with the aem ignition booster thing and for engine management the AEM with all the sensors Ill have one aem guage that tells me everything but normally only reads from the wideband o2 sensor.
For suspension I want the Tien edfc controlled coilovers lowered 1.5 in. I want all the tie bars and sway bars also install a bear big brake kit and wrap all that up with some volk challenge rims on bfg rubber and Ill have the ulitimate street car.

Im sure there is more to add and still other crazy projects but this is all for right now.
