i agree even tho i have no speeding tickets with the car(3 yrs).. but heres one of my favorite run ins with new tampas finest

i was harrassed by a cop while i was at 7-11 PAYING for my ciggaretts my car was on the TT with my keys in my pocket..i showed him my keys and explained why my car was running..he didnt seem to give a fuck...he insisted that i shut my car off..i left my money on the counter. went outside turned my car off..went back inside grabbed my change/cigs and left..wut a asshat..he couldnt wait 2 secs for me to get my change and leave..instead the clerk made my change while i went outside to shut my car off

go solve a crime bitchs

 

it is against the law to have TT on's ....

 

but speeding is ok..but i think the poster is more pissed off at the officer for not letting him off the hook rather then the ticket he got

 

yea, just watch out for the state boys, they have their little quota to meet everyday, I have heard stories where they will give their wife a tickett just to meet their quota. i have heard of it but dont know if its a bs story or what. usually sherriffs will not pull you over since they dont have a quota (depends on prick factor as well), and i dont know what the story is with cops.

i have had many issues with the cops pullen me over or messing with my car, never had the problem until i put my Eclipse together. yea, i was parked in a parking lane and this cop towed my car for no reason but to be a prick. i was like 3 inches from the curb,. so the next day i went to the cop station to tell him off. he was trying to use psychology on me and said that my car was parked in the middle of the street. i said, "in the middle of the f%$#%$ street, your out of your F^%$# mind", i got pretty hostile and he was threatening to arrest me, i said, "hey, i came here to speak to you man to man about how you wronged me, and you threaten to arrest me, your s/t else............ you wanna know how i got that car like that, i work three jobs and my wife works also, and you tow it off..... i better get the h%&^ out of here b/c Ill be dam$%$ if i am going to be in jail on Christmas Eve/Day." yea, this PUBLIC SERVANT had some Christmas spirit.

i went to talk to a lawyer about his actions. the lawyer told me that he doesnt want to mess with cops, he said they can plant stuff and do this, do that. he said that he believes cops do target cars they like. he said they hope to find reasons (no insurance, drugs, etc.) to inpound the cars in the hopes that they can end up with it. so i wrote a lot of people (government officials) about these cops harrasing me b/c of my car, after i wrote those letters the cops havnt messed with me.

if it makes you guys feel better, i know a guy that hit a cop so hard he knocked his eyeball out. no bs, he did some prison time for it. not long when he got out, he was at a party and some cops came b/c someone called them, he came outside and told, them, "hey you need to get the f%$$ out of here.............", his friends came and dragged him in the house telling him, "hey you just got out of prison, calm down, we arnt going to let yo go back.

sorry i had to vent, when I read these cop stories i get enraged. believe me i have a lot of stories. Like two cops called my 12 year old cousin out to fight with them. what pussies. a cop took my uncles money and on and on and on

 

there are always a couple cops that are dirty, whatever, it happens, but 1) You've gotta be a f**kin moron to hit a cop, have a little respect, and 2) that sucks w the towing thing w ur car, but with the story at hand, dude was speeding, got busted, Man up and take what you get for your actions instead of blaming the cop that pulled u over for doing something illegal

 

in those driving classes i had to take in high school the instructor thaught us, hey if everyone is going 80, 85 or faster, you need to keep up with
the flow of traffic you cant stay at the speed limit then.

in my opinion hes right, you cant be only going 65 while everyone in the big city is going 80, you are a hazzard then,

and i agree with this guys complaint. one time i was on I-71 and everyone was going 80mph. we all pass this state trooper. and we all probley only had a car lenth and a half between us. couple minutes later out of who knows how many cars, i get pulled over in my Eclipse. so this state trop. weeved through all these people to get me. thats fare huh? to be honest i usually dont cruise that fast for long b/c of my EGTs. but whats a man to do when you got semis and all going 80 mph all around you. End up under a semi to avoid a ticket? believe me, i have tried going 65 while e/o else was in the 80-90 range, i didnt feel safe, so i sped up.

also, respect those who do you the same honor, so yes i admit some cops are down to earth good people, i guess its hard to think of the positive s/t

i am not argueing with anyone, just stating my point of view
