So my car was parked in its usual spot yesterday, I work downtown so it was like a freaking mile away! When I come out at 6:00 I notice my bumper was hanging down on the passenger side a little so im thinking to myself I know my bumper dosent usually sit that low. So as I get closer I notice my hood and fender are dented and scratched and my headlight is pushed back. Im thinking someone backed into my car! Turns out I have a business card under my wiper blade with a cops phone and case number. As it turns out it was some 01 mitsu SUV that was being used as an undercover cop car that had backed into my car. Im pissed that my car was hit but I guess he could have been an ass hole and just took off.

 

 

 

Man that sucks, go to the Mitsu dealer and get a quote on the damage (That place behind what used to be Mitsu dealer "courtesy mitsubishi") and then get the city to give you the money, and take it to a shop that will do it for a lot less, and use the rest for maybe a Carbon fiber hood or some projector headlights... I did that when my old car was wrecked, and ended up getting a FMIC with the money....

As Gst_LmJ mentioned, take it to the dealer to get the quote. They definently will give you a hiked up estimate. You could also try Brandon Satan, err Mitsubishi, their competitively "low" labor rate is only $94 an hour alone.

ha ha ha thanks guys. Im taking it to a friend of mines shop. dealer parts are expensive a headlight alone is 500 bucks i heard . maybe ill get a nice cf hood with it

Yeah thanks Julian but my car is far from being as clean as I would like.

Ender can you imagine if my intercooler was damaged I would have been royaly fucked! That is one of my greatest fears of getting in an accident so I NEVER tailgate anymore.
