alright, went out, turned car on, pulled back seat out and screwed off cover to pump exposing the lines/electronics. not leaking, dry as a boner. i drive it around for a couple minutes and slowly the area it starts getting wet with gasoline, it started seeping in from what looks like to be the inside of that plastic O ring, and on the outside of the area (i guess the top of the gas tank?) it was wet with gas too.

im still clueless but im just gonna unscrew that plastic ring and screw it back on, thats all i can think of for now.

i thought i was but apparently the O ring is a lot smaller. my O ring was fucked up a while ago, giving me hardcore fuel problems.

i took off the plastic ring, put it back on as tight as i could and i got on it up and down the street, and so far no leaking. hope thats all the problem was

I'm pretty sure it has a rubber gimmick to keep the seal inside of that plastic ring
