The 1k for the wheel is a no brainer.
There are some parts you just dont buy from the Factory.
Any turbo shop can get that wheel and fix it for a couple hundred.

true but what if that t3 wheel would work,or is it not worth my time.
oh they also wanted 300 for a wastegate actuator.

You still havent said what t3 wheel you have.


I have a new evo316g actuator you can have for $100
I also have a fully ported evo3 turbine housing for $100.

what size/kind is the wastegate?

just sell the T3 and buy that 16g wheel. It will be more worth your time than putting the T3 wheel in there and doing all of the work on the compressor housing of the 16g

It is the wastegate actuator that comes with a evo316g.
The waste gate flapper itself is in the turbine housing.

Not if he is getting a quote from the dealer for $300 on actuator.
A actuator is for internal gates not external.
