I have a 3000gt and my oil pressure rises when i excerate dose any one have a ancer to this.I whould not have notice had I not raced a black primed up toyo celica .that basterd he brok my car whith his rice wagon lol .

 

Your oil pressure is supose to rise as your RPM's rise. It has a mechanical oil pump, so the more the motor turns the more the oil pump turns which means the more pressure it has and your oil pressure will go up.

 

can that have any adverse fx like blowing up my head and should i chang to a lighter oil

 

If your oil pressure is supposed to go up why would you try to make it not go up?

 

No it will not make your head blow up and you do not need to go to a lighter oil. It will have a lower break down point and cause more damage. Everythings fine, just drive the car. Now if your oil pressure goes down, then you have a problem.

 

cool thanks do you have some upgrade ideas for me so far i've put bosh 4 spark plugs 7mm hoses intake full new exhaust high flow cat some kind of muffeler and a home made short shifter metal valve cover gasket and i polisherd my i intake manifold my last dyno was 258 and some change.




ps dose any one have some cheap vr4 rims
