your problem might not be solved with water wetter, you need to figure out what's causing the overheating before you do some serious damage....

Thermostat is probably the easiest thing ever to do on the car, almost as easy as starting it every morning. Swap it out and see what happens.

yea do what some of these guys are saying. i was having problems with overheating, thought it was fixed but its still over heating a little, but only when im stopped at a light. as soon as i get moving it goes back to normal. check the thermostat, leaks, radiator etc. anything to do with cooling. i know i will be soon.

mine did the same before, got hot when at a stop but then went back down as soon as the car got moving. I replaced thermostat and flushed my coolant and it's all good now.

I replaced the thermostat with a 180 when I was doing my build and I checked everything and I have not leaks and no smoke coming out the tail pipe. It likes to over heat when im at a light or with the a/c on and it go’s a way when I start moving again just like dsm. Im thinking about a vented hood and a 3rd fan. this should work.
ill keep you guys updated.

Thanks for all the replays

Later

Juan
