i got my sp/dp in today, but of course, it falls about 2-3" short (the same length of the flange apexi sent me to go from 3" to the cat converter)

where can i go around here to get a flange [and have them weld it on if need be] ?

is it as simple as that?

 

im having the same problem as you I was told you can buy the flange at napa for like 10 bucks then any muffler shop should be able to weld it to a 3in pipe. Im going to take mine to Tire World on saturday because I know the owner. LMK if you wanna come with.

 

yeah i might do that. im running open DP right now though.. heh. where is this tire world? do you already have the flange? does it have to be welded, or can it be bolted in?

 

make sure the place you go to has 3 inch piping also some of those muffler shops dont have but 2.5

 

i dont have my dp installed yet its just riding around in my car shot gun I was going to get it done on tuesday so i already checked about the piping. Tire World is on the corner of Hills and Highland (the street light between Florida and the river) no i dont have the flange yet im gonna check on it tomorrow. as far as your set up it depends on what you got. i want mine to be all bolt on.

yah and SP. it came yesterday. i was out back throwin a lax ball aorund when we finsihed i saw the notice from ups on my door and i wa slike FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK but then i saw himpulling out from across the street and ran over and flagged him down. stupid flange
