Eclipse Drop
I have a 97 gs eclipse...i was wondering what is the best thing i should do to drop my eclipse. I was wondering what coil overs i should go with or even if i should go with coil overs. I dont know to much about eclipse's so i need advice.
Thanks-
Thanks-
for that price you wont get near a decent coil over set up. look for springs and shocks. i have tokico blues and eibach pro kits. lower, stiffer, all while keeping a very smooth ride. dont look at my sig for reference thats not how low it is

no coil overs = too much money... i personally run tien s tech springs = around $150 w/ tokicko blues in the back, most likely your stock front kyb's will be fine... the price is much MUCH less than coilovers and the ride is the same if not better... i have a convertable and my cars handling is sooo much more responsive and my launches are 10 times better (still not very good, lol) so if you are willing to sacrifice the adjustablity (which you will most likely set once or twice and then leave them like i have done on my other 2 cars, some people dont but it depends on the person)
tien s techs + tokico blues = happy handling, good launching and most importantly HAPPY HAPPY wallet compared to coilovers...
good luck man, i know i have droped quite a few of these machines and if i could be of assistance i will be more than happy to...
