I got KYB gas shocks with neuspeed racing springs and it's perfect! the gas shocks will cost you about $600.00 a set of four and the neuspeed springs will cost you about $180.00 something like that. I bought it in '98 and the cost me $300 but that was like 7 years ago.

adjustables will be at his budget themselves. if your just driving around town you dont need adjustables. if your gonna autocross or go to any tracks all the time then you may want them. i know a few people that have adjustables and they dont adjust them ever. suspension is such a difficult thing to get specific opinions on because everyone likes different setups. best thing to do is research ride height and spring rate for the springs. then decide if you want to go with adjustables or non.

the thing i like about adjustables is you can set the height just where you want it. If you take alittle weight off the car or you are not the average weight yourself you can still get the car just right.
