hey dude, sorry to hijack your thread - it sucks you had such a bad first expierence with DMS's. if you do get the 6bolt swap, you will fall in love with it.

--what effect would no-turbo pistons have in a turbo car? i know its a stupid quesiton, but i never looked into engines before. loss of hp? less life expectancy?

To put it in the simplest form for you, it would make the compression ratio to high thus burning a hole through the piston. Alot of other things also. But they do make turbo pistons for a reason.

honestly even with the 6bolt swap i dont think youll get over 3k for it. there is a 2g gst going for 3500 and it has a 6bolt swap and thats more desirable then a 1g fwd.
