If you need any help with your car let me know. I will make any effort I can to help you out in your time of need. If I can make the trim and have time if you ever need any dsm mechanical services let me know, free of charge. I live in cocoa beach so give me a little notice.

No worries, my nightlife over there more then compensates for the trip. Plus that's what DSM's are really about in the end, not the cars but the brotherhood.

I would really try to fix the car. Its a clean car with some nice mods to start with. It really wouldnt cost a whole lot. Get a 6bolt short block W/ fly wheel. While the motor is out i would put a new water pump and belts on it and maybe even re-ring it. You would then have a completely fresh motor for under $600.

I will try and get it out this weekend.
As long as i can work a deal on this built block i am looking at its yours.
It only has 92k miles on it but i would still freshen it up like i said while its out.
Its not alot of money and you will be really glad you did in the future.
Doing timing belts and water pumps while the motor is in the car sucks.
I know i told you that you could have the 6 bolt fly wheel but i forgot that you are FWD and mine is AWD.
I will still let you have it and you can sell it or try and trade it to get a fwd 6 bolt fly wheel.

You dont need rods or pistons unless you plan to make over 450hp.
Just get the water pump and timing belt at autozone. If you ask for the cheap timing belt you will actualy get a Gatorback but it wont be priced as a gatorback. Rings you can get from topline. Just get standard bore and do a light hone to the cylinder walls. When you are ready for all of this we will help you.
