Default Problem

My 2000 Mits. Eclipse Gt has been having many problems i just got it less than 6 months ago and it seems to be every month a new problem. my parents paid 12 grand for it which was WAY to much this i know. should i just keep repairing it or just trade it in. im now starting to wonder if the owner before he decided to put it in a lake cuz my car came with a hitch and im sorry but what can you possible haul with a little car like that. Some of the problems to me lead to water related issues in my opinion, like peeling of the interior of the wood grain and other issues like that. so im about to run carfax. but even if it did have water damage should i just give up and take it back to the dealership n yell at them for giving me a piece of crap car or just spend the money to fix it because all in all it's a nice car just has some problems that i guess the owner before me let go obviously, without repairing. im attached to my car just confused if it's worth the money because all in all it's only a 4 yr old car.

+1 I see them hauling little trailers on the interstate all the time. Usually a older couple. Wish they would give up and get out of the nice sports car already and get a big Towncar so they don't have to haul a trailer. haha

Oh and the price actually seems right. I'd pay it. How many miles?

you cant take it back to the dealer. Florida has a lemon law on new cars only. Used cars are sold as is unless you purchase a warranty with it.

Sounds like water damage then. Does the car have a sunroof? Convertible? Possbily a leak somewhere. You could maybe nail the dealership with this one if the damage is rather bad.
