Problem
What youre talking about doesnt seem like too big a deal, if the car runs well and you just need an interior detail and some seals you only looking at most a coulpe of hundred bucks. I live in palmharbor area if you want someone to take a look at it, I have nothing to do as I am on winterbreak from school so it would be no big deal.

well i thought it was tha battery that killed it 2 days ago but i put a brand new battery in it yesterday so it's gotta be tha alternator so i guess im getting a new one. i also have a sunroof. and i didn't buy tha car my dad did ask him why he's so stupid.
Seems you have all the symptoms of some sort of water damage. I would see if the car was ever in an accident and go water damage while at a lot since it has a sunroof if that broke could answer alot of your questions.
I'm also guessing either sunroof leak or flood damage. Pull a carfax on it and see what it brings up. Unfortunately, if the car has been flood damaged, it's damn near impossible to get rid of the smell, not to mention rust and corrosion.
You have to either give the whole carpet and clotch seats (if applicable) and very good shampooing, or replace the carpet all together. I'd also scrub the floorboards under the carpet to get rid of any bacteria/mold.
Let me know if you need any help

Theres more then just "taking care of the smell" if you own a car that has had previous water damage. Obviously it was not taken care of the right way and that's why you are having problems now and most likely more to come.
If you are I would start off by doing what BoostLogik suggested and try to clean up the whole car of all the moisture in it that you can. First things first is go get a carfax report, then go from there.
