All true. If my AWD car traps 105 and your FWD car traps 105, I am sure to lose from a roll as AWD has no top end. I may put some cars on you from a stop, but that's cheating and it doesn't matter anyway because the FWD will just roll right past when the AWD completely ceases accelerating at 50 or 60 or whenever the FWD stops spinning the fronts. This is the logic I have encountered many times from many people.
