Since when did mitsu make a shitty head? Last time I checked stock head cars were well into the 130s. Just cause it's not ported or 5 angle blah blah blah doesn't mean it's not good. And I would find out who ported the head, the mitsu head is kind of funky so if the person doesn't know exactly what they are doing it could actually hurt performance believe it or not.

Oh and you'll mid to low 13's if you up the boost most likely.

I didnt say that mitsu made shitty heads... i just said that the head on the car was shitty... its all messed up and the valves arent sealing properly... he's got a new head that he's throwin into the deal that is ported and has a 5 angle valve job and is resurfaced... and i have another queestion... how good are the sheppard trannies? do they have the stock gear ratios? whats so different about them that makes them so much better besides double synchros on 2nd?

what 16g is that? if its the super 16g from hahn, then right now with no injectors u can with tuning run about 13.5-13.8's at 105-107mph. thats what i was running, with about the same mods. get a fmic, afc, and injectors, tune it and boost it to 25psi, and u should see high 12's. my best with the s16g was 12.7@112mph

Stock injectors and no front mount? I wouldn't expect anything better than 103-104 mph as other have stated. Not that it hasn't been done, you just don't see it happen often.

ok thanks a lot for the info... yes it is a super 16g... its ported as well as the manifold and the O2 housing... your adivce was very helpful and i think thats what im going to do as far as my next mods... probably an afc first, then a fmic, and then injectors... does that sound good? one queston though... you have a 2g fwd... its a 1g awd- wouldnt the 1g be faster because of a better launch, its lighter, and the stock head flows better than the 2g(thats what i heard)? would that lower my times significantly? as far as injectors go, i've heard of going to the junkyard and getting the injectors from 2 RX7's (because they are so big they have only 2 each) and getting them flow tested and blueprinted... does this really save a lot of money and does it work good or is it just some lies a kids telling me?

Why go through all that trouble when you can buy injectors any size you want for like $70 a peice pretty much anywhere that sells them. Please don't ghetto rig your shit, there is already enough dsm's like that out there. If your going to do it do it right otherwise you'll end up paying more in the end.

550s are all over ebay for $205.

660-880s for $280.

I've been 107 in a full weight AWD with stock injectors and 118 in a "lightened" FWD Laser with stock injectors.

Did any of those MPH's you noted involve the use of a wet nitrous kit?

Just wondering
