Default downsides to a 2002 eclipes

I am looking at a 2002 eclipse GT, fully loaded, can get it out the door for 12500 with 22000 miles.

What are some downfalls with these vehicles, i have heard some good and bad things so far.

I'm not trying to take a racing view of it.

I just want to know as far as a daily driver what people think of them.

I think they would make a very nice daily driver. I would buy a new eclipse spider in a heart beat if i didnt have two little girls. I say get it. Its a nice car.

Mistubushi's warranty kicks ass right now too. If i was in the market for a new daily driver I would definatly check out their line up just because of the warranty.
Just get what you want. Check out consumer reports if you are looking for something that will last too.

ahh, I didn't see you were buying used. Hopefully you get a nice warranty with that as well.
